Paradise People Directory Choices
No single index lists everyone connected with Paradise. Each directory records a role. The Paradise Town Advisory Board identifies appointed members, county liaisons, commissioners, land-use applicants, and public speakers. UNLV and Clark County School District publish work contacts. County property systems identify assessed owners. Professional boards verify licensees. Library and archive collections preserve names that have fallen out of current databases.
| Directory | People Listed | Keeper | How to Browse |
|---|---|---|---|
| Paradise TAB | Board members, liaisons, applicants, speakers | Clark County | Free roster, agendas, minutes, and audio |
| UNLV People Search | Faculty and staff | University of Nevada, Las Vegas | Name filter and A-Z or unit browse |
| CCSD directories | Schools, administrators, staff routes | Clark County School District | School, staff, and region paths |
| Assessor records | Current assessed owners | Clark County Assessor | Owner, address, APN, or subdivision |
| Professional lookups | Licensees and public status details | Nevada boards | Board-specific name or license search |
| Historical collections | Past residents, groups, and businesses | Library District and UNLV | Databases, catalogs, and reading rooms |
Start with the role, not a broad name search. A current public employee belongs in a work directory. A parcel owner belongs in the assessment roll. Someone active in a zoning matter may appear in TAB minutes. A deceased or long-ago resident is more likely to surface in newspapers, census schedules, probate files, and archive catalogs. These sources overlap, but they do not prove the same fact.
UNLV Paradise Directory Search
UNLV sits in Paradise and maintains the most direct place-based staff directory. The UNLV faculty and staff entry point leads to public profiles and unit pages. A full or partial name can locate work information. The A-Z index and college, school, department, administrative-unit, research-center, and institute links help when the spelling is uncertain but the unit is known.
| Search Control | Input | Use in the Directory |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Full or partial text | Filters published university people profiles |
| Apply | Button | Runs the name filter |
| A-Z Index | Browse link | Finds units and subject pages |
| Directories | Browse links | Moves through colleges, offices, centers, and institutes |
The official UNLV directory page is shown below.
A typical profile can show a preferred name, title, department or unit, work phone, university email, office or mail code, profile page, and areas of expertise. It is a work-contact source, not a personal address book. When a name is absent, browse the unit page or call the department's main line.
Paradise School Directory Paths
Clark County School District serves Paradise. Its directory hub separates three useful routes: a School Directory, a Staff Directory, and Region Superintendent pages. School entries can supply the campus name, administrator, address, main phone, district email, website, grades, and region. The staff path is the better choice for a known employee name, while the school path works when only a campus or neighborhood is known.
The CCSD directory hub displays those distinct choices.
Public listings may route through a school rather than expose a direct number. Use the campus main line when a person is not indexed. Do not treat a missing result as proof that the person has no district role, since dynamic directories change and some contacts appear only on school or department pages.
Paradise Government Work Directories
Paradise government contacts are county and state contacts. The town is unincorporated, so there is no Paradise city employee list. The Paradise Town Advisory Board page publishes the five-member roster, county liaison, overlapping commission districts, agendas, minutes, and audio. Those Paradise records also identify applicants, agents, project owners, neighbors, and speakers tied to local land-use matters.
The official Paradise TAB roster and archive provide the local board view.
The roster changes as appointments change. Use the dated agenda or minutes when researching who held a Paradise role at a past meeting.
| Published name | Full or preferred work name where the office provides it |
|---|---|
| Role | Title, agency, board, department, or unit |
| Work contact | Public phone and email when released |
| Office context | Agency page, board roster, or department location |
| Record trail | Agendas, minutes, staff reports, or public filings tied to that role |
The Clark County liaison directory supplies the work contact assigned to Paradise.
A liaison listing connects Paradise residents with the county office that supports the advisory board. Confirm a current name before relying on an older agenda.
Nevada also maintains agency and employee contact routes. The central Nevada employee directory may be supplemented by agency staff pages when its service is unavailable. The captured example comes from the Nevada POST Staff Directory and shows the kind of work contact a state directory can provide.
Use the agency switchboard as the fallback. For older Paradise officeholders, Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records preserves historic state directories, while County Commission and TAB archives preserve local rosters.
Paradise Property Owner Directories
The Clark County Assessor roll functions as an owner directory. Search by owner name, street, parcel number, subdivision, subdivision owner, or book and page. An APN is the county's parcel number. Results can show owner names, tax mailing and location addresses, legal description, values, maps, sketches, history, and links to recorded documents. The mailing address is where the tax bill goes. It does not prove that the owner lives on the parcel.
A useful Paradise quirk appears in the City/Town field. It represents legal jurisdiction, not the postal city. Omit that field when a Las Vegas mailing line may mask a Paradise parcel. The assessor displays only two owner-name lines; ETAL means more owners exist. OpenWeb GIS can confirm the unincorporated-town boundary, zoning, district, and parcel context.
Address search tip. Keep both LAS VEGAS and PARADISE labels. The postal city and legal township can differ without either record being wrong.
The detailed access rules and copy channels belong with Paradise public records. As a directory, the assessor is best for the current assessed owner, while Recorder instruments are needed to follow earlier owners and transfers.
Paradise License Directory Network
Nevada has no complete professional directory. The correct source depends on the occupation or entity. SilverFlume identifies business entities, registered agents, status, addresses, and public filing roles. Clark County Business License is the right local office for unincorporated Paradise. Its advertised filters include category, subcategory, license date, and ZIP.
The Clark County Business License search keeps the Paradise jurisdiction choice visible.
The county listing is the proper local path for a Paradise business even when its postal address uses Las Vegas. A City of Las Vegas license search covers a different jurisdiction.
Individual credentials remain board-based. The State Bar of Nevada, medical and osteopathic boards, Board of Nursing, Contractors Board, Real Estate Division, Gaming Control Board, Cosmetology Board, and educator resources each maintain their own verification tools. A result may show license name, number, status, issue or expiration details, public discipline, or business affiliation where the board releases it.
Gaming is especially important in the resort corridor, but its boundaries matter. Gaming Control does not license or register every vendor or ordinary resort worker. Search the business entity, county license, and the relevant professional board instead of assuming one gaming list covers all Paradise activity.
Paradise Records Used as Directories
Several official indexes behave like people directories even though each was created for another purpose. The Recorder indexes principal parties to deeds, liens, homesteads, maps, marriage certificates, and other instruments. Its web official-records coverage begins in 1988, with earlier indexes on microfilm. The Assessor lists current owners. Voter files carry public registration fields but exclude protected data and have strict use rules.
- Index
- A finding list that points to a record. It is not always the full document.
- Principal party
- A person or entity indexed to a recorded instrument, such as a grantor or grantee.
- Reverse directory
- A directory arranged by street address or phone number instead of surname.
- Situs address
- The physical parcel location, which can differ from an owner's mailing address.
Roles must stay attached to names. An assessed owner is not necessarily an occupant. A registered agent is not necessarily the business owner. A deed party may reflect a transfer from decades ago. Dates, addresses, and record types help separate people with the same name.
Historical Paradise Directory Collections
The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District supplies Ancestry Library Edition, Fold3, HeritageQuest, MyHeritage, NewspaperArchive, and Las Vegas Review-Journal facsimiles from 1929 through 2018. Search Paradise names and addresses in obituaries, legal notices, ads, school items, clubs, and business announcements. Access rules vary by database and library-card status. The district has not published a reliable year-by-year shelf list for printed Polk or reverse directories, so exact volumes should be confirmed with Special Collections.

Federal Census
Public schedules through 1950; search Paradise-area streets and Las Vegas enumeration geography.
Printed Directories
Available holdings vary. Confirm exact Polk, reverse, and telephone-book years with library staff.
The Library District genealogy hub shows the available research platforms.
Use an address in newspaper advertisements and legal notices to bridge a missing directory year. The latest public federal population schedule is 1950. Since modern Paradise identity developed after that census, older household searches often work better under Las Vegas-area enumeration districts and street addresses.
UNLV's Hidden Paradise Directories
UNLV Special Collections and Archives is physically in Paradise at 4505 South Maryland Parkway. Its catalogs cover resort and gaming history, architecture, maps, oral histories, photographs, organizations, and Southern Nevada communities. Subject files can reveal board and member lists that never appeared in a standard telephone book.
The UNLV Special Collections portal introduces those local collections.
One rare people trail is Las Vegas' Gay Yellow Pages Telephone Directories, preserved for 1997 through 2012 in collection MS-00735, Box 1. It documents community organizations and businesses not captured by ordinary city directories. Researchers may also use Southern Nevada in Maps, oral histories, the African American Experience in Las Vegas, and regional-history files. Organizational subject files include civic, trade, education, entertainment, and neighborhood groups whose officers or members may be named. Those local collections can bridge years when a printed directory or online index has no answer. Contact Special Collections at (702) 895-2234 or special.collections@unlv.edu and verify reading-room hours before a visit.
